Frozen JR
Frozen JR
Disney's Frozen JR. expands upon the emotional relationship and journey between Princesses Anna and Elsa. When faced with danger, the two discover their hidden potential and the powerful bond of sisterhood.
This production of Frozen JR was preformed by BOA musical theatre students in the BOA Imagine theatre.
My role on the show was to make Kristof's jacket to fit two actors for the two casts. Kristof is the male protagonist of the show and sports a classic outdoorsman look.
I was in charge of making his leather jacket that is decorated with fur and a range of trims.

The Designer for the show wanted the jacket based on the Disney Frozen stage show which is what I kept in mind when making the costume. Other then that I had creative freedom.
I stared by marking and cutting out my pattern for the jacket. Since it had no sleeves it only consisted of 4 pieces and 5 seams which made everything a lot simpler when it came to sewing the leather as it was a hard fabric to sew.
Since the leather is so thick I use an industrial machine to complete the jacket following each seam and sticking them together.
Finally I added fur to the color, shoulder, and trim. I used a fur with a grey tone to replicate the fur the character would find in his natural environment.
